February 5th, 2014 — gDiapers, the company redefining disposable diapers, announces today the launch of its Love Me collection. Created to benefit its Portland neighbors and international activists Hands to Hearts International (HHI), gDiapers will donate a portion of proceeds from the purchase of Love Me gPants and tees to support HHI's life-changing work. To date, Hands to Hearts International has trained more than 40,000 caregivers in early childhood development and nurturing parenting skills, positively impacting more than 134,000 babies internationally. Through a purchase of Love Me products, gDiapers' customers will provide funds to directly support the expansion of trainings in some of the world's most volatile places.
The beautiful new Love Me diaper covers (gPants), tees and coordinating adult's tees are available today at www.gdiapers.com as well as at select retailers. Also available online in Canada and the UK.
"gDiapers has a history of producing products with a giving component," notes founder and President Kim Graham-Nye. "Our giving is focused on mothers and babies and the issues that affect them both immediately and in the years to come. We chose to work with HHI because we've seen the power of their work first-hand and are believers in the healing powers of touch and love. We're happy that a portion of proceeds from each Love Me product will go directly to the empowering, impactful HHI trainings."
In 2013, Hands to Hearts International was honored with a complimentary membership to the Clinton Global Initiative and was recognized by the Fetzer Institute as an "exemplar of love." www.handstohearts.org
In the words of HHI founder Laura Petersen, "In 2004, I founded Hands to Hearts International as a way to reach the world's neediest and youngest children with the simplest, most cost effective forms of healing available. Just as important, I wanted to empower women in the developing world to act for positive change in their families and communities everyday, weaving a stronger social fabric for the benefit of all."
